In the summertime in South Florida Snook make their ways to the jetties and inlets. Big breeders and smaller Snook as well stack up against the rocks to spawn. Its always exciting to mark them on the depth finder. Once you find the spot they are sitting you can drop a bait down to them and expect to get a bite pretty quick.
When the Snook take a bait it is a very distinct take. Often described as a “Thump” the Snook will take a bait and just sit there motionless for a second. That is when the angles strikes.
